Dear Maple Elementary Families,

My name is Renee Castanon, and I am honored to begin my second year as the proud Principal of Maple Elementary School. This year marks my 27th year in education, and I am just as passionate today as I was when I first stepped into the classroom. Serving the Maple community has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my career, and I feel privileged to continue leading a school filled with such dedicated staff, supportive families, and inspiring students.

During my first year at Maple, I witnessed countless acts of kindness, resilience, and achievement. I saw the “magic” that happens when we work together to create a learning environment where every child feels safe, valued, and challenged to grow. This year, I am excited to build on that foundation as we continue to nurture curiosity, strengthen connections, and celebrate each student’s unique gifts.

At Maple Elementary, our mission is to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We believe that strong partnerships between home and school are essential, and I look forward to collaborating with you to make the 2025–2026 school year a year of belonging, engagement, and growth.

My door is always open, and I welcome your ideas, feedback, and partnership as we work together to help every Mustang shine. Here’s to another year of learning, laughter, and limitless possibilities!

Respectfully,
Renee Castanon
